Since inception Scandinavian Wave have successfully completed a wide range of assignments, both in Sweden and internationally. Here are some of those we’ve had the pleasure of working with over the years:
The collaboration with Swedish interior giant IKEA was established in 2009. Among other things, we coordinate press events and trips to Sweden for their PR department and produce content for IKEA Japan’s newsletter for journalists (read more about this in our Showcase).

Shuueisha Publishing Co.Ltd. is one of the major publishing houses in Japan. Magazines by Shueisha caters to many different age groups in areas ranging from lifestyle, fashion and interior design, to food, entertainment and manga. Titles include Weekly Shōnen Jump, LEE magazine, Non-no and the Japanese editions of Seventeen and Cosmopolitan. For Shuueisha we’ve coordinated press trips, done research and produced articles and other content for several of their publications.

LEE remains an immensely popular japanese life style magazine and has covered areas like fashion, trends and interior design for more than 30 years. The target demographic is women in ages 20 – 35 years. We’ve coordinated press trips, done research, interviews and produced articles for LEE and also produced a separate booklet on Scandinavian interior design for the 2009 march issue (read more about this in our Showcase).

Koishikawa Print (“KP”) is a Japanese “one-stop-shop” print service coordinator supporting clients like legendary games and entertainment giant SegaSammy and Japan’s number one advertising agencyDentsu. Scandinavian Wave re-designed and produced KP’s new web site in order to give the company a more updated and professional look, as well as tighten up communication of the service offer.

Spokes organisation for the Swedish design industry Svensk Form boasts membership of some of Sweden’s premier design enterprises. Svensk Form has been given the task to promote Swedish design from the government, both domestically and abroad. Scandinavian Wave contributed planning and coordination on site in Japan for the Swedish Style in Tokyo 10-year anniversary. We also designed and produced the official bilingual web site and several print items, acting as intermediary between Svensk Form and Japanese principals during the event.
